Gate Staff
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Check in guests electronically for matches
- Handle money transactions, must be able to compute basic math
- Check off guest lists
- Hand out VIP credentials
- Know basic knowledge of matches and grounds
- Friendly, attentive and willing to work quickly with crowds
- Must be punctual
- Typical hours: Saturdays 2pm-6pm
Event Grounds Team
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Direct traffic and direct cars into organized parking spaces
- Check in VIP tailgates
- Set-up & Breakdown cones, place garbage’s, place signage
- Organize signage and event materials
- Basic knowledge of polo grounds
- Willing to work with fast pace of crowds with your team
- Goal judge
- Patch field, clean up manure, drive machinery, during and post-match
- Tent set-up, set-up table and chairs, flower planters
- Committed, punctual and responsible
- Typical hours: Saturdays 1pm-9pm, one to two additional weekday hours based on number of additional events
Scorekeeper
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Ability to keep track of goals and penalties, basic knowledge of polo
- Start and Stop time
- Work with polo announcer
- Ability to operate timing and goal computer system, work with our Audio team
- Typical Hours: Saturdays 4pm-7:30pm
Merchandise
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Previous merchandise experience preferred
- Keep shed tidy, organized and clean
- Fold and hang clothes and accessories
- Record inventory & process square transactions
- Stock shed before and after match with merchandise
- Friendly, enthusiastic and ability to easily engage with customers
- Typical Hours: Saturdays 1:30pm-9pm, plus an occasional weekday when new merchandise arrives
Event Hostess
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Outgoing, friendly, organized individual who engages well with others
- Greet guests upon arrival, manage seating chart, minor clean up under tent
- Work with waitstaff to accommodate guests special requests
- Assist with table set-up and breakdown
- Typical Hours: Saturdays 1:30pm-9pm
VIP Wait Staff
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Provide excellent customer service
- Always strive towards best customer satisfaction
- Greet customers and present menus
- Make suggestions based on their preferences
- Take and serve food/drinks orders
- Up-sell when appropriate
- Arrange table settings, keep tent tidy
- Enthusiastic and motivated to work in an outdoor setting
- Décor and table settings and breakdown, remove garbage
- Typical Hours: Saturdays 1pm-9pm
Polo Groom
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Must be 21+ years or older with valid drivers license
Responsibilities Include:
- Tacking horses for polo lessons, practices, and games
- Exercising horses
- Tack cleaning
- Stalls/turnout/feed
- Restocking hay and shavings
- Drive truck and trailer
Must have more than 2+ years of experience, with references. Housing available to qualified candidates. Seasonal (April-October) and Yearly positions available. Must be a team player, dedicated to the sport and understand the hours per week the job role requires. Salary & Benefits for yearly position. Compensation based on experience.
